Litchi (scientific name: Litchi chinensis Sonn.) is an evergreen tree of the Sapinaceae family and the genus Litchi, about 10 meters high. The peel has scaly scaly protrusions, bright red and purple. To bright red when mature; seeds entirely covered by fleshy arils. Flowering in spring, fruiting in summer. When fresh, the pulp is translucent and creamy, fragrant and delicious, but not resistant to storage. Distributed in the southwest, south and southeast of China, Guangdong and southern Fujian are the most prosperous.
